| Ingredient | # |
|---|---|
| Cinnamon (teaspoons) | 2 |
| Nutmeg (teaspoons) | 0.5 |
| Sugar (tablespoons) | 3 |
| Eggs (each) | 6 |
| Milk (cups) | 0.5 |
| Vanilla (teaspoons) | 1 |
| Bread Slices (each) | 12 |
| Butter (tablespoons) | 2 |
| Syrup (cups) | 0.5 |
Prep: 1. In a shallow container (like one of those square Pyrex dishes, etc.), combine the cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Stir until mixed. 2. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix well (I suggest a whisk, but a fork will work fine). Cook: 1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat (bigger skillets are better, as they let you cook 3-4 slices at a time). 2. Dip slices of bread in the egg mixture, then fry in the skillet until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook the other side. Serve with syrup. You can also top with fruit, powdered sugar, or anything else you feel like.
